ABOUT CUSTOM JEWELRY DESIGNS BY LORI:

I have been creating custom jewelry pieces for 10 years. I use AAA Quality precious and semi-precious gemstones. Swarovski Crystals. Set in Sterling Silver, Gold and Copper.

I started designing jewelry in the 70's, while I was still in high school. I had a wonderful mentor who taught me how to work brass and set bezels for my gemstones. I assisted her in showing her designs here in Tucson, AZ. From there I got into working with natural picture jasper and natural gemstones set in sterling silver and 14 kt gold.

I took a break from designing jewelry in the 80's, to raise 3 beautiful boys. When my youngest was diagnosed with vasculitis in 2002, we had to go thru a year of chemotherapy at UMC Cancer Center. It is here that I started my jewelry work again. ( I had to have a project to keep my brain focused and my hands busy).

This time I started working with natural gemstones and swarovski crystals in bead form. I created necklaces, earrings and bracelets. I gave these pieces to my sons RN's who had taken such great care of him while he endured 8 hours of chemotherapy every week for 12 months.

This was my way of saying "Thank You" for taking care of my beautiful, strong and brave son. The nurses loved the gifts and it was a keepsake for them to remember us by.

So from that point on I have moved on to designing pieces for weddings, little girls, the working woman and pieces for casual wear. Here is a description of the further works I do:

* WEDDINGS: Bride, Bridal Party, Mothers and Children.

* CHILDREN: Birthdays, Weddings, Christmas,Valentines

* WORKING WOMAN: I can work with any budget you
have.

Design necklaces, earrings, bracelets, ankle bracelets to match any outfit you have.

RESTRING OLD BEADS:
I also love to take pieces you have inherited from your loved ones and re-string and re-design them for you into a modern style so that you can wear the piece with todays' fashion.

REPAIR VINTAGE PIECES:
If you have old swarvoski pieces that are missing crystals, I can replace them for you.

I have inserted photos of previous pieces made for your reference. We can make anything you need out of any finding you desire. I can string from a single strand on up to a 20 strand necklace, and/or bracelet for you.
